Description
Most systems warn you once the intruder is already inside. A curtain detector changes the moment: it goes on the façade and watches the plane of the windows and doors, so the alarm sounds while the intruder is still outside. With the house occupied, that difference is everything.
It is Ajax, with dual curtain PIR on each side: it covers left and right independently, and in the app you choose whether you want both sides or only one — useful when one side is your own walkway. Range is set on the device itself, 4 to 15 metres per side, with a beam of just 6°, and it can be tilted 0° or 3° to hug the wall more closely.
- Grade 2 and anti-masking on both sides: if someone covers it, the system knows.
- Three sensitivity levels plus close-angle detection, to tune it to what is actually in front of it.
- IP54, −25 to 60 °C: it lives outdoors all year. Bracket included.
- Jeweller at 868 MHz, up to 1,700 m in the open, on two CR123A batteries lasting around 3 years.
- Compatible with Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus and ReX (firmware 2.11 or later).
174 × 123 × 88 mm, white, and no camera on board: it detects and reports, it does not record. Height and angle are half the job — if you would rather not gamble on that, we fit it and leave it adjusted.
