Some people simply do not want apps. This Ajax key fob is for them: four buttons in a pocket that arm, disarm, arm in partial mode and trigger panic, without taking out a phone or typing a code.

It is the Superior range model, with Grade 2 and NFA2P certification, so it is no market-stall remote: the button press travels on Jeweller radio at 868 MHz with up to 1,300 metres of range in open space. From the car, at the gate, the house is already disarmed.

• Built-in panic button: the alert goes out without reaching a keypad or a phone.
• Partial arming: perimeter only, to spend the night inside with the alarm set.
• One CR2032 battery lasting around 5 years.
• Just 65 × 37 × 10 mm and 14.8 grams: it does not weigh down a keyring.
• IP32: it handles humidity, not a dunking.

This is the black one. It works from −10 to 40 °C and its declared use is indoor — it lives in a pocket, not out in the weather. Each fob is assigned to a person, and that matters: the app records who armed and who disarmed. We register it on your hub for you.
