Description

Some alerts cannot wait for somebody to find a phone. This Ajax panic button sends the signal to the system with one hand: on a bedside table, in a dressing-gown pocket, next to the till or in an elderly relative’s room.

And it is designed not to go off by itself, which is why most people end up putting these things in a drawer: it needs a double press or a long press of 1.5 seconds. A nudge in a pocket triggers nothing.

• Jeweller at 868 MHz, with up to 1,300 m in open space: it works from the garden or the garage.
• IP54: it takes dust and splashes, including in a bathroom.
• One CR2032 battery lasting around 5 years.
• Only 47 × 35 × 13 mm: carry it, or fix it in one place.
• White ABS housing, discreet on a light wall or piece of furniture.

It is worth understanding what it does: it sends an alert through the Ajax system, to the phones you have registered. It does not call the police or a monitoring centre. We register it and show you exactly who receives the alert and how quickly.
