Who it’s for and who it’s not. This is the real wide-angle plate: 150° horizontal and 150° vertical with a 4 MP camera, capturing everything from the face of the caller to the package left on the ground. You don’t need that angle in a narrow entrance where no one can stand sideways.
What’s included in the box. The IP video intercom with a 4 MP camera and wide-angle lens for an apartment, speaker and microphone with Crystal Clear two-way audio, infrared night vision, and integrated EM, MF, and NFC card reader.
How we install it on the Costa del Sol. Surface-mounted and outdoor, made of machined aluminum measuring 145 × 85 × 28 mm, with IP65 rating and operating temperature from −40 °C to +65 °C. It is powered by PoE IEEE802.3af or with DC 12 V up to 1000 mA, and connects via local network or cloud, with Ethernet 10/100 BaseT, RS485, and RTSP. In a home on the Costa del Sol, it is mounted on the entrance pillar and the call is tested on the household’s mobile phones.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you gain with 150° vertical?
You can see the child and the package on the ground, not just the face of an adult. Vertical is where plates usually fail: they show a crown or cut off what is below the camera.
What quality does the image send?
1/3.2″ sensor and 4 Megapixel, with 2048×1080 (2K) at 25fps and H.264 and H.265 codecs. It also outputs via RTSP, which allows viewing from a recorder or a proprietary system.
Can it be powered without a network cable?
The network cable is the recommended way, as it carries both data and power in one (PoE IEEE802.3af). If that cable does not exist, it accepts DC 12 V with up to 1000 mA, but then two runs are needed.
