Who it’s for and who it’s not for. This is the street panel for an exposed gate: aluminum alloy with IP66 and IK08 rating, and a 5 MP camera with a 150° field of view. It is not the option for a sheltered door of a quiet home, where a plastic panel serves the same purpose for less.
What’s included in the box. The IP video intercom with a 5 MP camera for an apartment, a secondary 2 MP downward-facing camera for package detection and QR code reading, a speaker, and a dual microphone with Crystal Clear two-way audio, infrared night vision, MF and NFC card reader, and opening via BLE and QR keys.
How we install it on the Costa del Sol. It is surface-mounted on a pillar or wall, outdoors, with dimensions of 192 × 70 × 27 mm and an operating range of −40 °C to +55 °C. It is powered and communicates via a single PoE+ IEEE802.3at network cable. It works on a local network or via the cloud, and the firmware is updated remotely. On the Costa del Sol, it should be oriented to avoid direct sunlight, which can wash out the image of a face in backlight.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the purpose of the second camera, the one facing down?
For two specific things: to see the package left on the ground and to read the QR codes used as keys. It is a 2 MP camera separate from the main 5 MP one.
Can you enter without a key and later know who entered?
Yes. It opens with a 13.56 MHz MF card, with NFC, with BLE, and with QR, and keeps records of the openings. This allows access to be granted to a person and revoked without changing anything else.
What can be connected to its outputs?
Two 12V/600mA lock relays, one Wiegand output, and one RS485, in addition to two exit push button inputs and one Wiegand input. This manages two opening points: for example, the car gate and the pedestrian door.
