Description
A magnetic contact for a door or a window: it warns as soon as it opens. Grade 2 certified, with an input for an extra wired sensor, a tamper switch and a CR123A battery included. This is the basic model: it does not detect vibration or tilt, so it will not warn you about a blow to the frame.

Who it’s for and who it’s not for. This is the base piece for any door or window that opens, and in black it blends in with dark woodwork. It is not the version that alerts you to a knock on the leaf or that the window is tilted: this model detects opening, and for the other features, there is one that adds vibration and tilt detection.
What’s included in the box. Two pieces of the same size, 90 × 20 × 20 mm each: the transmitter, which goes on the frame, and the magnet, which goes on the leaf. The CR123A 3.0 V battery is included and lasts about seven years.
How to install it on the Costa del Sol. It is mounted indoors and without construction, with the transmitter and magnet facing each other on the edge of the door or window. Its operating conditions are from −10 °C to 40 °C and up to 75% humidity, with IP50 protection: it won’t work in a porch on the Costa del Sol exposed to rain, but it will in a storage room or hallway.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it sound if someone knocks on the window without opening it?
No. It works with a reed relay, which detects when the leaf separates from the frame. If you want it to alert you to a knock or a lever on the leaf, the model you need is the one that adds vibration and tilt sensors.
What is the Tinkerbell mode and what is it used for in a house?
With the system disarmed, the siren emits a special sound when this contact is activated. It is used to know that someone has opened the street door or the pool door while the family is inside and the alarm is not set.
Can it replace a wired detector that is already installed?
There is no need to replace it: it has an input for third-party wired detectors with normally closed (NC) contact. What was already installed continues to work and connects to the system through this.
