Description

A leak detector for the bathroom, kitchen or laundry floor: it warns your phone as soon as there is water where there should not be. It sits on the floor, with no building work and no cables, and its two AAA batteries last around five years. It detects, but it does not shut the water off: for that you add the shut-off valve.

It’s not for those who expect the water to stop on its own: this detector alerts, it does not shut off the valve.

Does it shut off the water when it detects a leak?
No. It detects and alerts your mobile. To automatically shut off the water, you need to add a shut-off solenoid valve to the system; the detector gives the command.

How often do the batteries need to be changed?
It uses 2 AAA batteries with an approximate lifespan of 5 years, so in practice, you change them once and forget about the device.

Can it be placed in a boiler room or a covered patio?
It has an IP65 protection rating and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C. It rests on the floor, without installation or cables, so it can be placed where water would first reach.
