Description
This is the kit for a house that no longer fits in four pieces. It brings the Hub 2 panel, two motion detectors with a camera (PIRCAM), a plain motion detector, a key fob, a keypad and an indoor siren. In other words: it covers three walkways, sends a photo from two of them, and arms from the wall without reaching for your phone — which is what actually makes an alarm get used every day.
The panel reaches you two ways, Ethernet cable and dual 2G SIM, so a cut line does not leave the house mute. Grade 2 certified, with room for up to 100 devices: the kit is a starting point, not a ceiling. The photo is the practical difference against an ordinary alarm — when it goes off, you see what set it off before deciding whether to call anyone or go back to sleep.
How we install it. The panel goes indoors on its SmartBracket with the rear tamper, with a power point nearby and — if you use the wired path — a network socket; both SIMs go in with their PIN disabled. Detectors are mounted at the height Ajax specifies, looking across the walkway everyone has to use, never facing windows or radiators. Every piece is registered by scanning its QR in the app, and before we leave we run the detection-zone test and the signal-strength test, detector by detector.
Want the same idea on 4G instead of 2G? See the Grade 2 dual-SIM 4G kit with HDR camera. The panel on its own is the black Hub 2, and the rest of the bundles live under kits.
