If you already have an Ajax alarm, this recorder takes one app off your phone: cameras and alarm live in the same app, with the same users and the same notifications. When a detector trips, checking what happened is one gesture, not opening another program and remembering another password.

It takes 8 channels and records up to 4K at 25/30 frames per second, with H.265 and H.264 and 100 Mbps of total bandwidth. It is not limited to the brand’s own cameras: it accepts any ONVIF or RTSP camera, so it can work with the ones you already have up.

• Scheduled and motion-triggered recording: record all day, or only when something happens — which is what multiplies the days you keep.
• One 3.5″ SATA disk up to 16 TB — not included, chosen from the days of footage you want.
• Remote access from the Ajax app on your phone.
• Mains powered (230 V, 50 Hz): no loose external adapter.
• 200 × 200 × 45 mm and 700 g, with a single RJ45 network cable.

This is the black version, the one that disappears inside a cabinet or on dark furniture. It runs from 0 to 40 °C, so it is not for an outdoor enclosure or an unventilated loft. We can hand it over already set up with your cameras.
