Description
The same Ajax Superior fob, in white. On a keyring full of keys, colour is what stops you pressing blind: if there are two or three fobs in the house, telling them apart stops being a matter of taste.
It does four things with four buttons: arm, disarm, arm partially and panic. It carries Grade 2 and NFA2P and links to the hub over Jeweller at 868 MHz, with up to 1,300 m in open space: it works from the street, the garage or the garden.
- CR2032 battery lasting around 5 years, with an app alert when it needs changing.
- 14.8 g and 10 mm thick: you forget it is there.
- ABS housing with IP32 protection against humidity.
- Partial arming to keep the outside protected with the family inside.
- Working range of −10 to 40 °C.
It does not replace the keypad or the app: it does not show the system status, it only sends commands. Its advantage is the opposite — anyone can use it, including people who want nothing to do with phones. And since each fob is assigned to a person, the app keeps a record of who armed and who disarmed, which is what actually matters when more than the family comes through the door. We hand it over already linked to your hub.
