Description
Carbon monoxide is the household risk nobody talks about: a badly ventilated boiler, a brazier or a gas heater is enough. This Ajax detector covers it alongside smoke, with a photoelectric sensor for fire and three CO response intervals according to concentration.
This is the black version: the one to choose when the ceiling or the beam is dark and you would rather not have a white disc in the middle of it. It works exactly as the light one does.
- 85 dB of its own siren plus a light warning, and a phone notification through the Ajax system.
- Jeweller at 868 MHz with up to 1,300 m in open space: it goes where it is needed, with no cable.
- Around four years of battery life on two CR2 cells and one CR2032.
- 132 × 132 × 31 mm and 220 g, in ABS plastic.
- Working range of 0 to 65 °C.
It is indoor equipment, 132 × 132 mm, which on a ceiling goes unnoticed. And it is worth knowing what it does not do: it does not detect natural gas or butane — that is a different detector — and it does not cut off the gas or the power, it detects and warns. Tell us how the house is heated and where the boiler is, and we will say how many are needed and which room each one goes in.
