Description
This camera does not only watch: it hears and speaks. It has a built-in microphone and speaker, so from your phone you can tell whoever is at the door that you are coming, calm the dog, or let someone know they are being seen. It is small — 64 × 100 × 34 mm, 110 grams — and it is an indoor camera: a shelf, the hallway, the landing, the room where the important things are kept.
It records at 4 MP (2560×1440) with a light second stream for the phone, compresses in H.265, H.264 or MJPEG, and opens 92° horizontally. At night, one infrared LED reaching 10 metres — enough for a room, not for a garden. It has WDR for backlit scenes and swivels 360° horizontally and −10° to 100° vertically. Power is 12 V DC or PoE, drawing at most 2.89 W or 5.85 W depending on how it is fed.
How we install it. It is the simplest install in the catalogue: a power point (or a network cable if you use PoE) and a stable surface. What we do decide with you is where, because an indoor camera has a delicate side: it must not point at the private areas of the house or at a neighbour’s property. We register it in the DMSS app, set the framing, and show you how to switch it off when there are people at home.
If the spot is outside, under a soffit, the right one is the 5 MP dual-light Wi-Fi turret. If there will be several cameras and continuous recording, the 4-channel NVR with PoE. Everything else is under Dahua indoor cameras.
