Description
The same Ajax outdoor siren, in white. On a pale or whitewashed wall it goes unnoticed, and that matters more than it looks: a siren you can spot from a distance is a siren that can be studied before anyone goes in.
It sounds between 85 and 113 dB at one metre, with the duration set anywhere from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. It links to the hub over Jeweller radio at 868 MHz, with up to 2,000 metres of range in open space: it can go on a rear façade, on the porch or on an outbuilding away from the house.
- Grade 2 with a built-in tamper switch.
- Flashing LED on alarm, plus an audible arming and disarming signal.
- IP54 and −30 to 60 °C: it takes the winter and the summer sun.
- Four 3 V CR123A batteries, or 12 V DC from an external supply.
- 200 × 200 × 51 mm and 502 g.
There is no camera and no microphone: it sounds and it flashes, and it does not call anyone by itself — the notification reaches your phone through the system. We install it where it will genuinely be heard — height, direction and radio range back to the hub, which is what decides whether it sounds at all — and test it in front of you.
