Description
The turret — that half sphere — is the camera that takes the outdoors best without shouting about it: no sunshade to collect dirt, no long body inviting someone to swing it aside. This Dahua records at 4 MP and weighs just 250 g.
Its trick is Smart Dual Light: a multi-core LED combining infrared and warm light out to 30 metres. In infrared mode it stays discreet; in warm-light mode it gives you colour at night, which is what turns a recording into an identification.
- SMD: motion video sensor that detects and classifies people, so it does not alert over a branch.
- 120 dB WDR, BLC, HLC and 3D-NR for backlight and night-time noise.
- 94° angle, enough for an entrance, a side passage or a pool.
- PoE 802.3af or 12 V DC, at a very low draw: 4.7 W.
- Only 109 mm across, with three-axis adjustment.
There is no microphone or speaker, so no audio, and the lens is fixed: it frames what is decided at installation and cannot zoom afterwards. We can supply it on its own or leave it mounted, aimed and recording.
