Description
12 MP on an outdoor turret is there for one very specific thing: being able to zoom in afterwards. The recording is stored with all that detail, so when you have to look at a plate or a face in a corner of the frame, the image holds up instead of falling apart.
It covers 112° horizontally, so a courtyard or a façade fits in whole while still keeping detail at the back. The main stream runs at 12 MP at 15 fps or 5 MP at 25/30 fps: you choose between maximum detail and maximum smoothness depending on what you are watching — a car entrance wants smoothness; a warehouse wants detail.
- Perimeter protection by line crossing and intrusion, with person and vehicle detection.
- 1 alarm input and 1 output (-AS model): it can trigger a siren or a light on detection.
- Two-way audio with built-in microphone.
- Digital WDR, HLC, BLC and 3D NR, with 4 configurable privacy masks.
- Smart H.265+: without it, 12 MP eats the disk at an uncomfortable rate.
Two honest warnings: 12 MP asks for plenty of disk and a network that can take it, and privacy masks are not decoration — if the camera reaches the street or the neighbour’s property, it has to be masked. We tell you what disk you need before you buy it. We sell and install on the Costa del Sol.
