Bullet Wi-Fi IP Camera 5 MP Outdoor – Dahua

Description

When there is no cable to the spot where the camera is needed — a corner of the garden, a courtyard, a finished façade — this Dahua Wi-Fi bullet solves it with the one thing usually available: a socket. It records at 5 MP (2880 × 1620) and is not limited to black and white after dark.

It carries Smart Dual Light: infrared and white light up to 30 metres. On infrared it stays discreet; on white light it delivers colour and, as a side effect, tells whoever is approaching that they are being watched. The day/night switch is automatic.

• 104° angle: a short façade, a porch or a parking area fits in.
• Two-way audio with built-in microphone and speaker: you hear, and you can speak from your phone.
• Motion detection across 4 configurable areas, so you are not watching what does not matter.
• H.265 plus a light second stream (640 × 360) for watching on the phone without burning data.
• −30 to 50 °C, 172 mm long and only 300 g.

Two clear limits: it runs on 12 V only, not PoE — it needs a socket nearby — and its WDR is digital (DWDR), so under harsh backlight it does less than a camera with true WDR. If the Wi-Fi does not reach that corner properly, the camera is not the problem: tell us and we will look at it.
