Description
In a flat, a holiday apartment or a hotel room, the Wi-Fi problem is almost never the router: it is the wall. This Reyee access point mounts on the wall, in an 86 × 86 mm body — the size of a socket box — and the dead zone at the end of the corridor disappears.
It is dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac): up to 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, with 2×2 MIMO omnidirectional internal antennas at 2 dBi on both bands. Because it sits flush and radiates into the room, the signal does not have to cross half the house.
- Up to 8 SSIDs: one network for the family, one for guests and one for smart devices, genuinely separated.
- PoE 802.3af powered at under 9 W: one network cable and not a socket in sight.
- −91 dBm sensitivity and adjustable transmit power, which is what stops several units interfering with each other.
- WPA and WPA2 (AES) with a WPA-PSK key.
- Web or remote management with Ruijie Cloud, and just 140 g.
This is indoor equipment (0 to 40 °C) and Wi-Fi 5, not Wi-Fi 6. Its point is fitting several of them, one per area, instead of one big router fighting the walls: tell us the rooms and we will tell you how many are needed.
