Description
This is the same Hub 2 with one difference that carries weight on the Costa del Sol: its mobile path is 4G (LTE) with two SIM cards, not 2G. In an urbanisation with patchy coverage, in a basement, or on a plot away from the village, that is the difference between the alert getting out and staying in.
The rest is the full house panel: Grade 2, up to 100 devices, 50 users, room for 25 IP cameras or recorder channels, and up to 9 arming groups — which is what lets you keep the garage armed while the family is at home. Its own 868 MHz radio runs Jeweller and Wings (the second carries photo-detector images), an anti-tamper switch, Contact ID and SIA for a monitoring centre, a backup battery good for up to 16 hours and remote firmware updates. In the box: panel, power cable and network cable.
How we install it. Indoors, screwed to its SmartBracket with the rear tamper, power beside it and a network socket if the cable path is used; both SIMs go in with their PIN disabled. On a 4G panel the location is chosen on two criteria at once: the radio must reach every detector and there must be enough mobile coverage — two things that do not always meet on the same wall. So we measure before fixing, register each device by QR and check signal one by one.
If the installation will pass 100 devices, the Hub 2 Plus. The kit that already carries this 4G path with a photo detector is the Grade 2 dual-SIM 4G kit with HDR camera. All of them are under Ajax alarm hubs.
