Description
The keypad is the one part of the system your family touches every day, so it has to be obvious at a glance. This Ajax unit arms, disarms, arms in partial mode — perimeter only, with you inside — and has an emergency button, all on a touch surface with no keys to wear out.
The siren is built in, which in many homes saves you hanging a separate indoor sounder: 81 to 105 dB at one metre, with the duration adjustable from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. It also chimes on arming and disarming and beeps through the entry delay — the sound that stops the alarm going off while you walk in to switch it off.

- Mifare DESFire EV1 and EV2 RFID reader (13.56 MHz): disarm by holding up an Ajax Tag fob or an Ajax Pass card, with no code to type.
- Jeweller radio at 868 MHz, up to 1,700 m in open space — no chasing walls to run cable.
- Four CR123A batteries: around 3 years with the reader on, 3.5 years with it off.
- Works with Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus and ReX on firmware 2.11 or later.
White finish, 182 × 115 mm and only 27 mm deep. It runs from −10 to 40 °C and declares no water protection: this is an indoor keypad, not something to mount on an outside wall. We can supply it on its own or fit it and register it on your hub.
