Description
The Hikvision modular IP video door entry (model DS-KD8003-IME1(B)/Flush) is a door station with a 2 MP camera featuring night vision, a wide-angle lens and two-way audio with built-in microphone and speaker.
It runs on a Linux system with BLC/WDR/DNR image functions and a 146° horizontal viewing angle. It connects via Ethernet 10/100 with the SIP 2.0 protocol and is powered by 12 V DC or PoE. It allows remote door unlock and monitoring via iVMS-4200 and the Hik-Connect app. It is compatible with Hikvision modular panels and is installed with the included flush-mount bracket. Outdoor-rated (IP65).

Who it’s for and who it’s not for. This is the outdoor panel for those who want a flush and clean entry and the ability to add modules later: it is modular and comes with a flush mount bracket. It is not the option when wall chiseling is not possible: for that, a surface-mounted panel is needed.
What’s included in the box. The panel with a 2 MP low-light camera with infrared, two-way audio with a microphone and speaker, and the flush mount bracket. Additional modules from the range and the indoor monitor are sold separately.
How we install it on the Costa del Sol. It is flush-mounted into the wall or pillar, outdoors (IP65), and connects with a single network cable using PoE IEEE 802.3af or DC 12 V. It operates with SIP 2.0 over Ethernet 10/100. On the Costa del Sol, the recess is prepared before finishing the construction if possible: flush mounting later increases the cost of a video doorphone.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does it mean that it is modular?
It means it is compatible with Hikvision’s modular panels, allowing the installation to grow with modules from the same family instead of replacing the entire unit. It also includes a module output for that purpose.
Can a sensor or exit button be added?
Yes: it has 4 auxiliary inputs, 2 lock relays, and a DC 12 V output with 500 mA. This can control the lock, the internal button, and additional contacts.
Does it perform well at night and against the light?
The sensor is low-light with infrared and includes BLC, WDR, and DNR, with 146° horizontal, 82° vertical, and 180° diagonal viewing angles. It is managed via iVMS-4200 and the Hik-Connect app.
