4G SOHO Router 4 Ethernet Ports RJ45 Fast Ethernet – Reyee

Description

There are places with no fibre: a plot of land, a site cabin, a newly opened shop, a country house. And there are businesses that cannot afford to lose the line the day the provider fails. This Reyee 4G router covers both: put a SIM card in and it provides internet on its own.

It works on 4G Cat 4, with up to 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up, and shares it over 802.11n Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz at up to 300 Mbps and through four Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 3 LAN). It takes up to 32 Wi-Fi clients, depending on the traffic they generate.

• WAN port: it can run on a fixed line with 4G as backup, or the other way round.
• Managed from a browser or from Ruijie Cloud, without travelling to the site.
• 580 MHz processor with 64 MB of RAM: enough for a small office or a home.
• Automatic, 20 or 40 MHz channel width, to cope with an area crowded with networks.
• Only 175 × 100 mm and 250 g, for indoor use (−10 to 40 °C).

Worth knowing what it is not: the ports are 100 Mbps, not gigabit, the Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz with no 5 GHz band, and the SIM and the data are not included. To serve a place the cable does not reach, it does the job; for a whole house on fibre there are better options and we will say so.
