Description
When the alarm works fine in the house but the detector in the garage or the shed at the bottom of the garden loses signal, the problem is almost never the detector: it is distance. This Ajax range extender pushes the system’s radio reach out to those points, without cabling anything again.
It is the model with NFA2P certification and Grade 2, and from firmware 2.13 it also supports Ethernet connection: it can hang off the network cable instead of relying on radio alone, which is what you do when you have to cross a building or reach another floor.
- Jeweller and Wings at 868 MHz: it repeats alarm signals and also the images from photo detectors, which is where other extenders fall short.
- Up to 100 devices with Hub 2 and 200 with Hub 2 Plus; you can fit 5 extenders per hub.
- Backup battery for up to 38 hours: a long power cut does not leave the area blind.
- Anti-tamper: if someone opens it, the system knows.
- Powered from 110~250 V, or 12 V / 6 V with the matching module.
It has no siren and it is an indoor device: its place is halfway between the hub and the problem area, not at the far end. Placing it right is a matter of measuring, not of trial and error. We sell and install in Málaga and the Costa del Sol.
