Description
There are houses where the alarm works in the living room and fails in the garage or the shed at the back. The Ajax REX is the piece that fixes it without changing system: it repeats the hub’s radio signal and extends the range out to the devices that were left out.
It runs on 110–240 V and carries a 2 A·h lithium backup battery, so a power cut does not leave half the installation uncovered — which is exactly when you least want it. It links over the system’s own Jeweller channel, with no cable back to the hub.
- Up to 99 devices with Hub and up to 149 with Hub Plus: it does not shrink the system, it extends it.
- OS Malevich, the same operating system as the rest of the Ajax range.
- 163 × 163 mm and only 36 mm deep, 330 g: mount it and forget it.
- Works from −10 to 40 °C and up to 75 % humidity.
- Black finish, so it does not stand out on a dark wall or inside a cupboard.
One important warning: it works only with Hub and Hub Plus running OS Malevich 2.7.1 or later — check your control panel before buying. And it is indoor equipment. Where it goes decides whether it helps at all: if in doubt, we measure the real coverage first.
