Description
A fisheye camera solves one specific problem: covering a whole room without spreading three cameras around the corners. With 185° horizontally, vertically and diagonally it sees the full circle, so in a shop, a small warehouse or a reception there is no blind spot behind you.
It records at 6 MP with a main stream of 2560×2560 — square, which is the natural shape of a circular image — and two lighter secondary streams for viewing on a phone without eating the line. AI-H.265 compression cuts what it takes up on disk considerably against plain H.264, and that means extra days of recording on the same drive.
- 120 dB WDR, HLC, BLC and 3D-NR: shop-window backlight and direct spotlights stop swallowing faces.
- 15 m infrared with 3 LEDs, for when the place goes dark.
- PoE 802.3af or 12 V DC, 10.1 W maximum: it fits any normal PoE switch.
- Compact: Ø122 × 53.3 mm and 460 g, it disappears into the ceiling.
The place for a fisheye is not a corner, it is the centre of the ceiling: on a wall, half the circle is spent looking at brickwork. That is exactly the kind of decision that changes the result, which is why we prefer to see the place before telling you how many cameras you need. We sell it and, if you want, we install it on the Costa del Sol.
