Description
When there’s a lot of ground to watch and it’s dark, an ordinary camera falls short: it needs light. This one doesn’t. It combines a thermal sensor, which sees a person’s body heat in total darkness, with a 2336 × 1752 visible camera to identify whoever the thermal picked up. This is the unit for a large perimeter: a warehouse, a hotel, a residents’ association or an estate.
- Real, measured range: detects a person at 292 m, recognises them at 194 m and identifies them at 38 m.
- Thermal sensitivity NETD <40 mK with a 7 mm lens: it picks up minute temperature differences without depending on a single street light.
- Fire detection plus hot and cold spot tracking: it warns of an outbreak before there is a visible flame.
- Analytics that earn their keep: line crossing, intrusion, people and vehicle classification and smoker detection.
- Properly motorised: continuous 360° pan, −15° to 90° tilt and up to 200°/sec manually.
- One cable: PoE+ (802.3at) or ePoE, drawing under 24 W.
This is project equipment, not a blind purchase: the range depends on where it goes and what you need to cover. We supply and install, so the usual route is that we come and see the site, tell you how many are needed and where, and quote you for the installation. We cover the whole Costa del Sol.
